Extremely large families can be impersonal and, because of the large number of people in the church, we have smaller groups which meet every week so that we have opportunities to spend family time together.

The early church would often meet from house to house and break bread, enjoy a meal together and share fellowship.

This is one of the primary functions of our "friendship groups" and this kind of small group meeting is also repeated for our children and teenagers.
