Are you a proper church?

Yes. The original word for Church is ecclesia, which is Greek meaning 'gathered.' We believe that the Church is not a building but Christians joined and gathered together by their faith in Jesus Christ and the love He gives us for one another. This is why we call ourselves a Christian Fellowship.

I am a good person, won't I go to heaven anyway?

No! You are measuring your goodness by comparing yourself to others when you should be comparing yourself to God. As Paul states in his letter to the Romans "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". ROMANS 3:23 NIV. This means that we are all heading for destruction. Think of it as a test where the pass mark is 100%. It doesn't really matter if you score 90% or 10% - you have still failed. This is why we need Jesus in our lives. He came down to earth and lived a perfect life. Then He took all our sins upon Himself and gave His life to satisfy God's righteous anger. This is how we can be forgiven of our sins and know that we will have eternal life.
